As with all IMI events, Muslims of all denominations are welcome to pray with us, and peoples of all faiths and none. Children, toddlers and babies are also welcome. You can stand or sit wherever you feel comfortable.
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet, plus we’re pleased to state that this venue has a hearing aid induction loop system which will be in operation during IMI events as part of our ongoing commitment to inclusivity. As a disabled or an older person who has difficulties accessing public transport in London and where an IMI event is within a 5 mile radius, consider using the free Dial-a-Ride service.
We are working toward holding Friday prayers weekly, but at the moment are struggling to cover costs and find affordable, accessible venues. If you’d like to donate even a small amount, or have any venue suggestions in central London, please do get in touch with us!

Ameet is a regular jummah khateeb and has volunteered with IMI for 2 years. From January to March, he’ll be leading sessions in Kundalini Yoga, known as the yoga of awareness and experience. Kundalini Yoga uses breath work (pranayama), a yoga sequence (kriya) made up of postures (asana), as well as mantra, meditation and relaxation to integrate the exercises and allow the effect to integrate. The movements are adaptable for people with impairments.
You will need to wear lose clothing, bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Please email admin[at]inclusivemosqueinitiative.org if you have any questions.
